Experience & Skill Levels
I've never surfed before - can I learn with you?
Absolutely! Most of my students are complete beginners. My teaching method focuses on building confidence from the ground up, and most first-timers stand up on their first day.
I've taken surf lessons before but didn't progress - can you help?
Yes! I specialize in helping people who felt “stuck” or confused in previous lessons. I break down each movement clearly and focus on what YOU specifically need to improve.
Do you teach intermediate and advanced surfers?
Yes, I work with all levels. For intermediate/advanced surfers, we focus on technique refinement, reading waves, positioning, and progressing to more challenging breaks.
What's the maximum group size?
I keep groups small (maximum 4-5 people per surf instructor) to ensure everyone gets personal attention and feedback. When I have larger groups, I bring another qualified surf instructor to maintain the same quality of teaching. Private lessons are also available.
Can children take lessons?
Yes! I teach kids aged 7 and up. I’m experienced working with children and make lessons fun and safe while ensuring they learn properly.
Practical Details
What should I bring to the lesson?
Just bring: swimwear, towel, sunscreen, water bottle, and a positive attitude! I provide everything else.
How long are the lessons?
Standard lessons are 2 hours: 20-30 minutes beach theory, warm-up, and technique practice, then 1.5 hours in the water.
What time do lessons usually start?
We’re completely flexible and adjust lesson times based on surf conditions and your schedule. I work to satisfy everyone’s preferred timing while ensuring we catch the best waves for your level.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety first! If conditions aren’t suitable for your level, I’ll contact you to reschedule. Taghazout has consistent surf, so we can usually find a good alternative day quickly.
