Who is behind it
I am Reda, and I teach the lessons myself
I grew up on this stretch of the Moroccan coast. I have been teaching surfing in Taghazout for more than ten years, and I am still the one who meets you on the beach.
That is not how most surf schools here work. Taghazout fills with seasonal instructors who arrive in autumn and leave in spring. They are often good surfers. They just do not know which beach is working on a Tuesday morning in February.
I do, because I have surfed it my whole life. Most mornings I check the swell before deciding where the lesson goes — Panoramas, Banana Beach, or Devil’s Rock in Tamraght.
I teach in English, French and Arabic, plus basic German.
What we teach
Beginner to advanced, in small groups
Group lessons and private coaching, adapted to the level you actually arrive at rather than the level the brochure assumes.
Complete beginners start in whitewater on sandy beach breaks. Improvers work on catching unbroken waves and reading the sets. Confident surfers get guiding to whichever point or reef is working that day.
Solo travellers, couples, families and small groups are all welcome. We also run sandboarding trips on the Timlaline dunes for the flat days.

Why Taghazout and Agadir
This stretch of the Atlantic is one of the few places on earth where a complete beginner and an experienced surfer can both have a good day, fifteen minutes apart.
Waves arrive all year round. Sandy beginner beaches sit minutes from world-class right-hand point breaks. The climate is warm, the water sits between 16°C and 22°C, and the village keeps a relaxed pace that most people end up staying longer for.

Who runs Surf With Reda?

Taghazout, Tamraght and Agadir. The beach is chosen each morning based on the swell and the level of the group, so you always surf somewhere that suits you.
How big are the groups?
Four to five students per instructor at most. That is small enough to be corrected in the water rather than shouted at from the beach.
